Position: Applied Legal Research Intern Location: Gurugram On-site – City Duration: 6 Months Stipend: 20000 Organization: Wasserstoff RJ Innovations – Legal Wires Department: Legal Research and Policy About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Applied Legal Research Intern to join our team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal research, statutory interpretation, case law analysis, and policy evaluation, especially with a focus on real-world legal issues and reforms. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive legal research on current and emerging legal issues. Analyze statutes, case law, and secondary legal sources. Assist in drafting legal memoranda, reports, and policy briefs. Support ongoing legal and policy projects by providing relevant insights and documentation. Stay updated on legislative and judicial developments at national and international levels. Collaborate with legal professionals and contribute to publications or articles, if required. Requirements Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in LL.M , P.hd Law Strong research, writing, and analytical skills. Familiarity with legal databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, Westlaw, or similar. Ability to interpret complex legal texts and communicate findings clearly. A keen interest in applied law, policy, and real-world legal challenges. Attention to detail and ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Previous internships or experience in legal research or policy analysis. Knowledge of specific legal domains such as constitutional law, technology law, criminal justice, or international law. What We Offer Practical experience in applied legal research.
