Position Title: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Ramming Mass & Refractory Division Location: Head Office – Kolkata Plants Under Scope: Durgapur & Jamshedpur Industry: Industrial Minerals / Refractory / Ramming Mass Manufacturing Experience Required: Minimum 20 years in Ramming Mass / Refractory / Industrial Manufacturing Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned and visionary CEO to lead the strategic and operational aspects of our Ramming Mass and Refractory business across two major plants in Durgapur and Jamshedpur. The ideal candidate must possess extensive domain expertise in the refractory and ramming mass industry, demonstrate strong leadership, and have a proven record of managing multi-plant operations, business development, cost optimization, and team building. Key Responsibilities: • Business Strategy & Leadership • Formulate and execute long-term strategic plans for growth, product excellence, and market leadership. • Oversee the entire value chain — from raw material procurement to production, quality, dispatch, and after-sales service. • Plant Operations Oversight • Supervise end-to-end operations at Durgapur and Jamshedpur plants. • Ensure operational efficiency, production planning, maintenance, quality control, and cost optimization. • Sales & Marketing • Lead domestic and export sales initiatives. • Build strong customer relationships, drive market penetration, and handle pricing strategies. • Financial Performance & Cost Control • Monitor profitability, budgeting, working capital management, and cost-reduction programs. • Technology & Quality • Upgrade manufacturing practices, implement R&D initiatives, and ensure consistent product quality to meet client specifications. • Team Management & HR • Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams at both plants and the head office. • Foster a culture of ownership, discipline, and innovation. • Compliance & Safety • Ensure all plants meet environmental, statutory, and safety regulations. Required Profile: • Educational Background: B.Tech/B.E. in Metallurgy, Ceramic Engineering, Mechanical, or relevant discipline. MBA preferred but not mandatory. • Experience: Minimum 20 years in Ramming Mass, Refractory, or allied industrial minerals manufacturing. • Leadership: Proven ability to lead multi-location teams and drive performance. • Location Flexibility: Must be based at Kolkata Head Office with frequent visits to Durgapur and Jamshedpur.
