Coordinating Transportation and Distribution: They manage the movement of goods from suppliers to customers, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and tracking shipments. Inventory Management: This involves overseeing inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and implementing strategies to minimize waste and optimize storage. Negotiating Contracts: Logistics executives negotiate contracts with suppliers, carriers, and other vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing.
