Bakery Commis 1 – Duties & Responsibilities Position Summary: The Bakery Commis 1 is responsible for assisting in the preparation, baking, and presentation of bakery items such as breads, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods, under the supervision of the Bakery Chef or CDP (Chef de Partie). Key Duties: Preparation & Baking: Prepare ingredients and doughs for breads, rolls, croissants, and other bakery products. Operate bakery equipment such as ovens, mixers, proofers, and sheeters. Follow standard recipes and production schedules. Product Quality: Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and presentation. Maintain portion control and minimize wastage. Check quality and freshness of ingredients before use. Support & Coordination: Assist senior chefs in daily bakery operations and production. Follow instructions from CDP or Bakery Chef efficiently.
