Job Designation: Asst. Manager Logistics Job Location: Ajapar, Kutch, Gujarat - 370110 Experience: 7 to 10 Years Education: Graduate Job Description: Local Transportation Handling: Must be well-versed in coordinating with local transporters and courier companies. Responsible for arranging timely and cost-effective transportation for raw materials and finished goods. Ensure smooth and safe movement of goods within city or regional boundaries. Handle negotiations, rate agreements, and service quality monitoring with local transport vendors. Material Movement Inbound & Outbound: Manage all inbound logistics including receipt of raw materials, consumables, and other supplies. Oversee outbound logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods to customers or distribution points. Ensure proper documentation (e.g., delivery challans, e-way bills, invoices) is prepared and maintained for every movement. Track shipments and coordinate with the store and production teams for smooth handovers. International Logistics & Trade Compliance: Should have sound knowledge of international logistics, including import and export procedures. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agents, and shipping companies for international consignments. Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements related to customs, duties, and documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Packing List, Commercial Invoice). Monitor timelines, costs, and risks associated with international shipments to avoid delays or penalties. Skills Required: Strong negotiation and communication skills for vendor coordination. Good understanding of documentation and regulatory aspects of both domestic and international logistics. Ability to plan and execute logistics operations efficiently to support uninterrupted factory operations.
