Job Summary

Senior Developer

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop complex
MSSQL / PLSQL
procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
Migrate and refactor legacy Oracle PL/SQL code
to PostgreSQL
.
Optimize SQL queries and database performance across large datasets.
Implement data pipelines and ETL processes using cloud-native tools.
Collaborate with application developers and architects to integrate database logic.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across environments.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment of database components.
Monitor and troubleshoot production database issues and performance bottlenecks.

Required Technical Skills

Database Expertise:
Strong experience in
MSSQL/PLSQL
and
PostgreSQL
(mandatory).
Cloud Migration:
Hands-on experience in
database migration
to any
cloud environment
(AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL, etc.).
Performance Tuning & Optimization:
Proficient in query tuning, indexing, and data modeling.
Scripting & Tools:
Familiar with migration tools such as
DMS
,
Ora2Pg
,
pg_dump
, or equivalent.
Version Control:
Experience with
Git
or other versioning systems.
Bonus Skills (Preferred):
Exposure to
ETL processes
,
CI/CD pipelines
, or
containerized deployments
(Docker/Kubernetes).
