Job Description

You must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in JIRA administration within enterprise environments. Your responsibilities will include administering and maintaining Atlassian JIRA, JIRA Service Management, and Confluence platforms. Additionally, you will be tasked with designing and implementing custom JIRA workflows, screens, schemes, custom fields, and dashboards. Your role will also involve developing Confluence spaces, templates, macros, and knowledge management structures for various teams. Collaboration with business users to gather requirements and implement JIRA configurations according to Agile/DevOps delivery models is essential. You will manage user permissions, groups, and roles within JIRA and Confluence, conduct regular system audits, cleanups, upgrades, and security patches, as well as integrate JIRA with third-party tools. Furthermore, your duties will include developing and maintaining documentation on configuration, processes, and best practices, providing day-to-day support and training to users on JIRA and Confluence usage and capabilities, and generating reports and analytics using JIRA Query Language (JQL), filters, and dashboards. Collaboration with IT and Security teams to ensure compliance and data integrity is crucial. The required skills and qualifications for this role include strong expertise in JIRA workflow configuration, automation rules (Automation for JIRA), and JIRA Service Management (JSM), proficiency in Confluence administration and integration with JIRA, hands-on experience with scripting and automation using Groovy (Script Runner), REST APIs, or similar tools, a good understanding of Agile and ITIL frameworks, experience in user onboarding, access control, and group management, strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace plugins and licensing management. Preferred qualifications include Atlassian Certification (ACP-610/620/1000), experience with Atlassian Cloud and Data Center migrations, familiarity with other Atlassian tools like Bitbucket, Bamboo, and Trello, basic knowledge of Linux and Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) for backend support, ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment, strong organizational and documentation skills, customer-focused and proactive in identifying and solving issues, and flexibility with shifts.
