JDE Distribution Consultant

Role Overview: As a Functional Needs Manager, your primary responsibility is to identify and manage the client's requirements for project development and execution. You will ensure compliance with the company's quality standards and documentation. Understanding the client's operational characteristics, specifying solution requirements, and assessing system feasibility based on the client's business traits are crucial aspects of your role. It is essential to stay updated on new technologies and products to facilitate continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Survey, analyze, and document comprehensive processes, technical requirements, and business needs. - Validate design models and conduct interviews with users and suppliers. - Review estimates and specify functional designs of use cases. - Issue procedures and generate/maintain documentation for system analysis and improvement. - Conduct test assemblies, provide user training, and identify the need for new systems or propose enhancements. - Analyze implementation alternatives, perform parameterization, and collaborate with the development team to implement solutions. - Offer post-implementation support and generate reports. Qualifications Required: - 5-7 years of experience in functional needs management. - Knowledge of ERP JD Edwards modules: Supply (Purchases and Inventories), Manufacturing (PDM and SFC), and Costs (JC). - Proficiency in formal analysis and development methodologies, UML, SQL, data warehousing, testing tools, and office tools. - Demonstrated skills in teamwork, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and oral/written communication. - Ability to predispose towards users, show commitment, and transmit knowledge for people development. Please note that flexibility for S3 shift/Night shift is a requirement for this role.
