What Will You Do? As an IT Business Development Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by acquiring new clients and building sustainable relationships. Your main responsibilities will include: Lead Generation & Prospecting Identify and target potential clients on platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other relevant B2B platforms. Research and analyze project opportunities, bid effectively, and position our services to potential buyers Client Communication & Proposal Writing Initiate conversations, understand client requirements, and draft tailored proposals. Engage in regular follow-ups to convert leads into projects. Negotiation & Deal Closure Communicate value propositions clearly and negotiate pricing and project scope effectively. Close deals while ensuring mutual value and long-term collaboration. Relationship Management & Retention Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Encourage repeat business and referrals through excellent service delivery and communication. Reporting & Collaboration Maintain detailed records of activities, leads, and sales using CRM tools. Collaborate closely with project managers and technical teams to ensure client requirements are translated into actionable deliverables. Key Skills & Competencies Proven knowledge of platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, Fiverr, PeoplePerHour, etc. Strong command over written and spoken English. Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. Understanding of web and mobile development services, including technologies like WordPress, PHP, Laravel, Flutter, etc. (preferred). Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, Google Workspace. Time management, self-discipline, and ability to work independently in a remote setup. Who Can Apply? Candidates with bachelors or masters degree in marketing. (IT background preferred.) Freshers and experienced candidates for less than 2 years are welcomed. Freshers with strong communication skills and practical knowledge of online marketplaces are encouraged to apply.
