Javascript - Technical Specialist

As a JavaScript professional, you will be responsible for delivering business functionality to FundsNetwork web applications, focusing on new financial products for pre and post retirement markets. Your role as an experienced agile technical lead in the Web Delivery team is crucial for enabling the team to deliver high-quality systems efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Web & Mobile product architect to define and implement the next generation of Rich Internet Applications (RIA) using JavaScript frameworks. - Improve productivity and quality of development teams by promoting agile practices and sharing skills through mentoring and pairing. Qualifications Required: - At least 8 years of overall IT experience with a minimum of 6 years in web application development, including strong skills in JavaScript and REST services. - Minimum 2 years of experience working on Rich Internet Applications using JavaScript frameworks like JQuery, Backbone, Angular, Ember, etc. - Minimum 2 years of experience working on JavaScript libraries like Grunt, Mocha, Karma, etc. - Excellent hands-on experience with JavaScript. Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with frameworks like PhoneGap. - Experience working with NodeJS and Selenium. Personal Characteristics: - Hands-on development experience with a can-do attitude. - Embrace agile development approach. - Willingness to learn new technologies and accept feedback positively. - Excellent team player with a passion for Web Application development.
