Javascript Developer

You are a Senior Node.js Developer with 5 to 10 years of backend development experience, sought after to join a prominent banking client in Pune. Your role involves leveraging your expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, and backend architecture to develop and maintain scalable backend services. You will be responsible for building secure and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams including frontend, QA, and DevOps. Your key responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring the enforcement of best practices. Additionally, you will manage Git workflows, optimize MongoDB and relational database schemas, and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies while maintaining CI/CD pipelines. To excel in this role, you must possess a minimum of 5-10 years of backend development experience with Node.js and demonstrate a strong command over TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+). Proficiency in RESTful API development, GraphQL, and database systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is essential. Knowledge of security practices such as OAuth2, JWT, and OWASP is also required. It would be advantageous if you have hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and exposure to messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Previous involvement in the banking or financial domain is a plus.
