Description
As a Java with Hadoop Developer at Airlinq, you will be part of a team responsible for building end-to-end IoT solutions using Hadoop to address various industry challenges. Your key responsibilities will include: - Building quick prototypes and demonstrations to showcase the value of technologies like IoT, Machine Learning, Cloud, Micro-Services, DevOps, and AI to the management team. - Developing reusable components, frameworks, and accelerators to streamline the development lifecycle of future IoT projects. - Working with minimal supervision to contribute effectively to the team's goals. - Setting up Cloud platforms for different use-cases. To be successful in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Minimum of 3 years of IT experience with at least 2 years working on Cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure. - Experience in designing highly scalable enterprise applications and setting up continuous integration environments for the target cloud platform. - Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and a strong background in IoT concepts, Connectivity, Protocols, Security, and Data Stream. - Familiarity with emerging technologies like Big Data, NoSQL, Machine Learning, AI, and Blockchain. - Hands-on experience with AWS services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security components. Additionally, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Pig, Hive, and Spark. - Experience in migrating workloads between on-premise and cloud environments, as well as cloud-to-cloud migrations. - Proficiency in programming languages like MapReduce, Spark, Java (core java), J2EE, Python, Scala, Unix, and Bash Scripts. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, data analysis, and research skills. - Demonstrated ability to think innovatively and independently, beyond the limitations of existing tools.
