As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in Java with DevOps, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Possess a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field. - Have at least 5 years of experience with common web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, and HTML. - Demonstrate over 5 years of hands-on experience with Java or other Object-Oriented languages. - Display familiarity with developing software applications in cloud environments like Azure, AWS, or GCP. - Showcase expertise in working with REST APIs and asynchronous messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, or Apache Kafka. - Exhibit experience in designing and implementing object structures in relational databases. - Show proficiency in refactoring legacy applications, which is considered a bonus. - Demonstrate the ability to deliver high-quality software that meets standards of quality, security, and operability. - Be willing to work flexible hours based on business priorities.
