Java Trainer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured, hands-on training in

  Core Java, Advanced Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs

  , and

  Microservices

  .
• Train OPT candidates on real-time project scenarios and help build strong technical foundations.
  
• Guide and mentor students on coding best practices, industry standards, and enterprise application development.
  
• Prepare course materials, assignments, and real-world use cases.
  
• Conduct regular assessments, mock interviews (technical and behavioral), and provide constructive feedback.
  
• Monitor candidate progress and provide individual support as needed.
  
• Collaborate with the placement team to align training with current market demand in the USA.
  
• Keep up-to-date with the latest Java ecosystem trends and integrate them into the training modules.
  
• Teach basic DevOps concepts and tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, etc.) if applicable.
  
• Help in resume building and guide candidates on navigating job portals (like Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.) and interview processes in the U.S.
  

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java (Core and Advanced), Spring Framework (Spring Boot), Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
  
• Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  
• Prior training/mentoring experience is a

  must

  (especially with OPT/CPT or international students is a

  plus

  ).
• Familiarity with U.S. job market expectations, consulting processes, and OPT job placement cycles.
  
• Basic knowledge of cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) and DevOps tools is a plus.
  

Education:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  

Preferred:

• Experience working in or with U.S.-based IT consulting or staffing firms.
  
• Previous experience training candidates on H1B/OPT/CPT.
