Job Description

Job Summary:

Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend services and APIs.
Build and maintain microservices using
Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
.
Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Implement security and data protection best practices.
Write unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
Participate in code reviews, and contribute to team knowledge sharing and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in development, QA, and production environments.
Work in Agile/Scrum teams and actively participate in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

of experience in backend development with
Java
.
Strong proficiency in
Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
.
Good understanding of
RESTful APIs
and
microservices architecture
.
Experience with
RDBMS
(e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and
NoSQL databases
(e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
Hands-on experience with
version control systems
like Git.
Familiarity with
CI/CD pipelines
, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
