Java Tech Lead Vice President

As an Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst at our company, your role is pivotal in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. Your main objective will be to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities. **Key Responsibilities:** - Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals and identify necessary system enhancements - Utilize technologies like Java, Spring Boot, and Mongo DB for development and maintenance of enterprise shared services - Demonstrate strong expertise in Java-17, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, JMS, WebSphere MQ, Git, REST API, SSL, and other related open-source technologies - Possess knowledge and understanding of containerization like Docker and OpenShift - Showcase critical-situation troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with Linux commands and RHEL - Resolve high-impact problems/projects through evaluation of complex business processes and industry standards - Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint - Develop a comprehensive understanding of how business areas integrate to achieve goals - Offer in-depth analysis to define issues and create innovative solutions - Act as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, distributing work as required - Assess risk when making business decisions and ensure compliance with laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 13+ years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role - Extensive experience in system analysis and software applications programming - Track record of managing and implementing successful projects - Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development - Ability to adjust priorities quickly and demonstrate leadership and project management skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills This job description offers an overview of the work involved in the role.
