You are an experienced Sr/Lead Developer in Java with over 10 years of expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and proficiency in front-end technologies. In this role, you will lead a team of developers, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Product, QA, DevOps, and Security, you will be instrumental in developing modern, cloud-native financial applications that are compliant, resilient, and user-friendly. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of Java Spring Boot microservices and Angular-based Spas, as well as providing technical leadership and mentorship to the development team. You will work closely with stakeholders to define technical solutions aligned with business goals and drive the adoption of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and secure development practices. To excel in this role, you must have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Angular, along with a strong knowledge of modern DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and cloud-native tooling. Experience in leading engineering teams, setting technical direction, and managing code quality is essential. Familiarity with FinTech products and excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills will be advantageous. Your technical stack will include Java 8, Java 17, Swing, SQL (Sybase 16.2, Oracle 12c), Frameworks (Spring/Spring integration/Hibernate), Application server (JBoss Wildfly to API: EJB/WS REST, JMS), and exposure to the Wealth and Asset Management sector.
