Java Software Developer - Spring Boot Framework

We are seeking an experienced Java Software Developer with a solid background in Java and Java-based frameworks like SpringBoot. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a good understanding of data structures, and hands-on experience with RESTful web services and messaging systems. You will work closely with our Agile team to develop new features and products, write automated tests, and ensure high-quality code through effective source control and testing practices. Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable applications using Java and Java-based frameworks like SpringBoot. - Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Write and maintain automated unit and functional tests to ensure the reliability and performance of applications. - Develop and consume RESTful web services and understand Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) concepts to integrate applications effectively. - Utilize Git for source control, manage branching, and apply release management practices to maintain code quality and facilitate smooth development workflows. - Work with messaging systems such as Kafka, AMQ, JMS, or similar frameworks. - Implement messaging solutions to handle asynchronous communication and data processing. - Collaborate with the Agile team to clarify new product features and requirements provided by the Product team. - Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. - Apply strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking to devise innovative solutions for complex technical challenges. - Advocate for code craftsmanship, maintain high coding standards, and utilize tools that enhance code quality and efficiency. - Strong experience in Java development and Java-based frameworks like SpringBoot. - Proficient in Java and Java-based frameworks (e.g, SpringBoot). - Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of data structures. - Experience with RESTful web services and SOA concepts. - Proficient in writing automated unit and functional tests. - Experience with Git source control and effective branching and release management practices. - Understanding of messaging concepts. - Experience with messaging systems like Kafka, AMQ, JMS, or similar frameworks is desirable. - Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment. - Ability to think critically and devise innovative solutions to complex problems. - Strong advocate for code craftsmanship, good coding standards, and the use of tools that improve code quality. - Experience with additional Java frameworks or technologies. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. - Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture
