Java Performance Engineer

Role Overview: As a JAVA Performance Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the performance of middleware systems through your expertise in Java, middleware technologies, and performance tuning. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around performance optimization, troubleshooting, middleware performance engineering, code review, design recommendations, and collaboration with the architecture team. Additionally, you will be involved in performance testing and monitoring to ensure system efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Perform performance optimization and troubleshooting activities to enhance system efficiency. - Engage in middleware performance engineering, including JVM tuning, garbage collection optimization, and thread management. - Troubleshoot performance issues across various middleware layers, such as Kafka and Kubernetes environments. - Analyze application logs and metrics to identify performance bottlenecks and provide actionable insights. - Optimize Kafka for high-throughput messaging systems and utilize Kubernetes for scalability and fault tolerance. - Utilize performance monitoring tools like Dynatrace to identify system-level inefficiencies and propose enhancements. - Conduct code reviews to enforce performance best practices and collaborate with development teams for application design refinement. - Develop and execute performance testing strategies to validate system reliability under load conditions. - Establish automated performance monitoring pipelines for proactive issue detection and resolution.
