Job Description

As a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing core applications using Java and Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and deploying high-performance Java Spring Boot applications. - Implementing RESTful APIs and microservices. - Writing clean, well-documented, and testable code. - Collaborating with architects and other developers to ensure alignment with overall system architecture. - Troubleshooting and debugging complex application issues. - Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback. - Working with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) to deploy and manage applications. - Utilizing and managing data in various databases (Oracle, DynamoDB, NoSQL). - Integrating with messaging queues (Kafka, AWS SQS). - Optimizing application performance and scalability. - Contributing to the continuous improvement of our development processes. - Providing support during US business hours for a few hours. Key Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong focus on Spring Boot. - Deep understanding of microservice design patterns and implementation. - Experience with RESTful API design and development. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB). - Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, AWS SQS). - Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. - Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure). - Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Chaossearch, Kibana, Grafana, Datadog). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
