- Design, develop, and implement Java microservices to support business requirements in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to migrate existing on-premises applications to AWS, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Utilize Kafka for building scalable messaging queues and handling real-time data feeds.
- Work with various RDS databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data management.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and industry standards.
- Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and implementing suggestions to improve code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Java microservices, AWS infrastructure, and Kafka messaging queues.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in Java microservices development, AWS, and Kafka to continuously improve our systems and processes
- AWS Certified Developer or Solutions Architect certification.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks is a plus.
