Role Overview: As a Java Lead at Uplers" client, a global leader in data integrity, your role will involve translating product strategy and business priorities into a coherent set of features for one or more scrum teams. You will take on multiple roles including product owner, business strategist, product designer, market analyst, customer liaison, QA, and project manager. You will be a key member of the team strategizing and presenting the future vision of the product to business and technology stakeholders in collaboration with the Product Manager. Key Responsibilities: - Execute the product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities. - Conduct market and competitive analysis, define products to serve those needs, addressable market, ability to penetrate and sell, and overall business justification and strategic fit for products. - Provide team leadership through communication and coordination of cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization. - Lead architecture for all components in an investment segment, focusing on design of systems in the investment segment. - Actively support Product Manager in the Product Planning and business performance of one or more products. - Engage with customers throughout the product lifecycle to better glean product insights. - Write clear, compelling, and detailed user epics and stories with user acceptance criteria. - Ensure the backlog is prioritized in order before the sprint. - Coordinate with appropriate architects to ensure tech decisions are made and implemented. - Identify business process improvements and opportunities for automation. - Participate in technical and sales enablement. - Demonstrate expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot & Microservices, API Development, Data Structures & Algorithms, Database Knowledge, System Design & Scalability, Analytical & Critical Thinking, Hands-on Implementation, and Professional Practices. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of industry experience in data engineering and product management. - Expertise in programming languages such as Java and Spring Boot. - Bachelors Degree (or higher) in business or technical field. - Track record of designing and developing data products or software products. - Expertise in Java for backend development; familiarity with frontend scripting languages such as Node.js and React.js is a plus. - Expertise with databases, particularly Mongo Atlas, and developing/consuming REST APIs. - Exposure to cloud-native technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and microservices architecture. - Basic understanding of agile and scrum methodologies. - Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP, Redis, Security Domain, Datadog, Code fresh, hands-on Terraform will be advantageous. - Working knowledge of data ETL preferred. - Good to have: Understanding of Spark framework along with Snowflake and Databricks. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI etc. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Excellent interpersonal skills, active listening ability, and the capacity to set and meet time-sensitive goals.,
