Java Lead

As a Java Lead at our company, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement APIs and integrations. It will be crucial for you to ensure adherence to coding standards, security principles, and best practices while driving system performance optimization, scalability, and issue resolution. Additionally, you will be expected to mentor and guide junior developers, perform code reviews, and maintain quality standards. Your involvement in architecture discussions and providing technical leadership throughout the SDLC will be instrumental in the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design and development of scalable microservices using Spring Boot and Java. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement APIs and integrations. - Ensure adherence to coding standards, security principles, and best practices. - Drive system performance optimization, scalability, and issue resolution. - Mentor and guide junior developers; perform code reviews and maintain quality standards. - Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical leadership throughout the SDLC. Technical Skills Required: - Strong proficiency in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes (preferred). - Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, etc. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) is an added advantage. - Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills. As a candidate for this role, you should have a minimum of 9 years of professional experience in Java-based development. It is essential to have proven experience in leading teams or technical leadership roles, along with strong communication, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.,
