Description
Design, develop, and deploy scalable and robust Java-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using best-in-class architectural patterns. Collaborate with solution architects and DevOps teams to implement cloud-native applications using microservices, RESTful APIs, and serverless technologies on GCP. Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability by leveraging GCP services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and Kubernetes (GKE). Ensure secure and compliant development practices through Identity & Access Management (IAM), data encryption, and network security configurations. Automate build, test, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Build, and Artifact Registry. Work with BigQuery, Cloud Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage for data processing, analytics, and streaming use cases. Integrate third-party APIs and services into the application ecosystem and ensure seamless interoperability. Monitor applications using tools such as Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring and Logging), and implement proactive alerting and incident management. Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and performance tuning of backend components. Document system designs, workflows, and infrastructure setup to support maintenance and onboarding of new developers. Stay updated with GCP’s evolving services and Java frameworks and recommend adoption of new tools or practices to improve delivery efficiency.
