Job Description

As a Senior Associate Software Development Engineer at NTT DATA, you will play a vital role in supporting the designing, developing, and testing of software systems, modules, or applications for software enhancements and new products. Your work will involve collaborating closely with stakeholders to drive business growth by crafting innovative solutions and functionality. You will be responsible for writing and testing code, executing automated testing, participating in software deployment, and delivering software components in collaboration with the product team. In this role, you will design and develop functionality in a micro-services environment, working with APIs, telemetry data, and running ML/AI algorithms on structured and unstructured data. You will support the integration and building of solutions through automation and coding, using 3rd party software, and craft, build, and debug large-scale distributed systems. Your responsibilities will also include writing, updating, and maintaining technical program documentation, end-user documentation, and operational procedures. To excel in this role, you should have a developing understanding of cloud architecture and services in multiple public clouds like AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Office 365. You should be a subject matter expert in programming languages such as C/C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Node.js, libraries, and frameworks. Additionally, you should possess developing expertise in data structures, algorithms, software design, microservices-based software architecture, and experience with API product development. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude, strong analytical and debugging skills, and the ability to work well in a diverse team with different backgrounds and experience levels. You should thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have excellent attention to detail. Proficiency with agile, lean practices, test-driven development, CI/CD concepts and tools, and cloud-based infrastructure and deployments is also desired. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with relevant agile certifications preferred. Moderate-level experience in working with geo-distributed teams, full software delivery lifecycle tools, Agile and Lean methodologies, Continuous Delivery/DevOps, Analytics/data-driven processes, developing microservices and RESTful APIs, and software development is required.
