Job Description

As a Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a pivotal role in developing cutting-edge web applications with a focus on architecting user-centric interfaces. Your responsibilities will include: - Having 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software development, particularly in Java, microservices/Hibernate, and Angular. - Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, Angular, and related technologies. - Familiarity with API management and documentation tools. - Knowledge of both Relational Databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (Cassandra, Couch DB, Mongo DB, H-Base). - Deep understanding and practical experience in Programming concepts such as OOPS, Design principles, patterns, TDD, automation, and best practices. - Experience with Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis, and Docker. - Exposure to Cloud environments like AWS, GCP, and Azure. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Your Role will involve working with Java, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery), and web servers like Apache & web services. You will be responsible for: - Utilizing and designing APIs using REST, XML, and JSON. - Demonstrating exceptional coding skills, problem-solving proficiency, and a proactive approach to learning new technologies. - Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability. - Conducting code reviews and providing mentorship to junior developers for continuous learning. - Collaborating closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. - Participating in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
