Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge web applications with a focus on architecting user-centric interfaces. Your responsibilities will involve utilizing your advanced skills in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, Angular, and other related technologies. You will work on designing APIs, writing unit tests, conducting code reviews, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Develop cutting-edge web applications using Java, JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js), and web technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery) - Design APIs using REST, XML, and JSON - Write unit tests and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability - Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers - Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI designers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions - Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprints, retrospectives, stand-ups) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications Required: - 4-6 years of hands-on experience in software development with a focus on Java and microservices/Hibernate with Angular - Proficient in Java, Spring Boot Microservices/Hibernate, Angular, and related technologies - Familiarity with API management and documentation tools - Knowledge of Relational Database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational database (Cassandra, Couch DB, Mongo DB, H-Base) - Experience with Elastic Search, Kafka, Redis, Docker, and Cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment Company Details: Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a diverse team of 340,000 members in more than 50 countries.
