Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

Design and develop scalable applications using
Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs
.
Build responsive, reusable UI components using
Angular (latest version)
and
SCSS
.
Implement complex business logic using
JPA Query Builder
, Hibernate, and Java backend services.
Create and integrate
Jasper Reports
with backend systems.

Legacy Modernization (PowerBuilder)

Understand, analyze, and refactor existing
PowerBuilder (v9+) applications
.
Work on
DataWindows, Windows, User Objects, and Transaction Management
in PB.
Participate in migrating PB components to modern Java + Angular architecture.
Optimize stored procedures and rewrite legacy SQL logic as needed.

Database & Performance

Work with any
RDBMS
such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.
Write optimized
Stored Procedures, T-SQL statements
, and handle performance tuning.
Ensure efficient database communication and transaction integrity.

AI-Enabled Development

Utilize
GitHub Copilot and other AI tools
to accelerate development, generate code templates, and perform code optimization.
Apply
Prompt Engineering
techniques to enhance productivity (optional but preferred).

Quality, Debugging & SDLC

Apply strong debugging skills to analyze complex issues across frontend, backend, and integrations.
Ensure code quality through best practices, unit testing, and clean architectural patterns.
Follow Agile/DevOps practices and participate in all SDLC phases.

Technical Leadership

Identify suitable technical solutions and evaluate their business fit.
Keep up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
