Java Engineer

You will be joining ESK Technologies as an experienced Java Engineer in Chennai. As a core member of an agile team, you will drive user story analysis, elaborate designs, and develop responsive web applications using the best engineering practices. Your responsibilities will include hands-on software development, writing code and unit tests, conducting proof of concepts, code reviews, and testing in ongoing sprints. It is essential to continuously refactor code and deliver improvements while developing a deep understanding of integrations with other systems and platforms within the supported domains. You will be managing your time effectively, working independently as well as part of a team, and fostering a culture of innovation, ideas, and continuous improvement. As a Java Engineer, you will challenge the status quo, take risks, and implement creative ideas. Collaborating closely with product managers, back-end, and other front-end engineers, you will implement versatile solutions to complex web development problems. It is crucial to embrace emerging standards, promote best practices, and ensure consistent framework usage. Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience of 3-4 years. - 5+ years of experience working with Java, demonstrating strong Java knowledge. Experience with Java 11 or above is advantageous. - Proficiency in web fundamentals and HTTP protocol. - Positive attitude, effective communication skills, willingness to learn, and collaborate. - 2-3 years of experience in developing Java applications using frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Dropwizard. - 3+ years of experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) / Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practices, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, regression testing, GUI testing, web service testing, and browser compatibility testing utilizing frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriverIO, Cucumber, JUnit, Mockito. - 5+ years of experience in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment. - 5+ years of experience working in an Agile or SAFe development environment.,
