Location: Chennai (Sholinganallur); Bengaluru (HSR Layout). Years of Experience: 5+ yrs Key Responsibilities: Develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure e-commerce applications using Java (Spring/Spring Boot). Integrate with third-party services including payment gateways, shipping APIs, and ERP systems. Customize and extend e-commerce platforms. Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality features. Troubleshoot and debug issues across various systems and environments. Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, ideally within an e-commerce environment. Strong proficiency in OOPS Concept, Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, MVC, Security), and RESTful & GraphQL API design. Experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle. Familiarity with e-commerce platforms. Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus. Knowledge in HCL Commerce is a plus. Knowledge of DevOps tools (Docker, Jenkins, Git) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is desirable. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
