Java Developer/Architecture

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Java 8/ 11/ 17, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  
• Architect, build, and manage scalable cloud-native applications on GCP, utilizing services such as Kubernetes, CloudSQL, BigQuery, and others.
  
• Develop automation scripts and tools in Shell/Bash, Python, and other scripting languages for deployment, monitoring, and operational tasks.
  
• Lead the implementation of CI/CD pipelines, leveraging tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
  
• Manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep for automated provisioning and configuration.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.
  
• Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud environments and enterprise systems, providing root cause analysis and solutions.
  
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices are integrated into all development and deployment processes.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Java development, with proficiency in Java 8, 11, or 17.
  
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and legacy Java frameworks.
  
• Extensive hands-on experience with GCP services, especially Kubernetes (GKE), CloudSQL, BigQuery, and related cloud-native tools.
  
• Proven ability to develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or equivalents.
  
• Proficiency in containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
  
• Strong scripting skills in Shell/Bash and Python.
  
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Bicep.
  
• Solid understanding of cloud security, monitoring, and logging practices.
  
• Experience working in agile environments, managing high-complexity systems, and leading technical initiatives.
  
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Additional Experience

• Knowledge or experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS.
  
• Exposure to financial messaging systems (SWIFT, ISO 20022) is a plus.
  
• Familiarity with deploying and managing microservices architectures.
  
• Understanding of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor.
  
• Leadership or mentorship experience in large-scale development projects.
