Job Description

Java Developer (4 to 8 Years Experience) - Chennai Location - F2F Interview

Job Role: Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
Participate in full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including planning, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
Troubleshoot and debug applications.
Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting best practices and new technologies.
Implement and maintain core services, APIs, and integrations.
Work in an Agile development environment with daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code reviews.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Adhere to security guidelines and best practices.

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Java (J2SE, J2EE).
Experience with Java frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and web services.
Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
Experience with databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle, or NoSQL).
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React) is a plus.
Experience with version control tools like Git.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to write well-documented code.

Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
4 to 8 years of professional experience in Java development.
