Role & responsibilities We are seeking a talented and passionate Java Developer with strong Spring Boot experience to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable applications. You will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications using Spring Boot framework. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. * Develop and consume RESTful APIs. * Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). * Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. * Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes. * Troubleshoot and debug application issues. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers. * Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and Spring Boot technologies. * Deploy and maintain applications in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). * Contribute to the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. * Participate in agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). Required Skills and Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Proven experience in Java development. * Strong understanding of Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Data. * Experience with RESTful API development and consumption. * Proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB). * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). * Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito). * Familiarity with build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle). * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills. * Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: * Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes). * Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI). * Knowledge of microservices architecture. * Experience with front end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js. * Experience with Message Queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ). * Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
