Job Summary Synechron is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to join our CDIO IB-Financing team. This role is pivotal in developing and enhancing web applications to meet complex business objectives and user requirements. The Java Developer will contribute to Synechron’s strategic goals by delivering high-quality, efficient Java-based solutions that drive innovation and improve performance. Software Requirements Required: Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Multithreading, and SQL. Preferred: Familiarity with Agile methodologies. Overall Responsibilities Analyze user requirements and business objectives to develop Java-based applications. Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions using Java Core, Spring, Hibernate, and Multithreading. Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide architecture. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices are followed. Triage product or platform issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing sources and impacts. Challenge vague requirements to gain clarity and avoid costly assumptions. Technical Skills (By Category) Programming Languages: RequiredCore Java. Frameworks and Libraries: RequiredSpring Boot, Hibernate. Databases/Data Management: RequiredStrong understanding of SQL. Development Tools and Methodologies: PreferredAgile methodologies. Experience Requirements Proven 3+ hands-on experience in Java development, including Core Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Multithreading. Industry experience in financial services and understanding of financial projects is preferred. Alternative experience pathways include roles focused on Java development in complex enterprise environments. Day-to-Day Activities Write and test product development code independently. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications and systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and drive innovation. Participate in code and design reviews to ensure software solutions meet high-quality standards. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Advanced certifications in Java development are preferred. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
