Java Developer

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java-based microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot, Implement and manage Apache Kafka for messaging, event streaming, and real-time data processing, Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, testers, and product owners to define and deliver scalable software solutions, Build RESTful APIs and ensure smooth integration between services, Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance bottlenecks and code issues, Participate in code reviews for quality assurance and mentoring junior developers, Ensure CI/CD pipeline integration and follow DevOps best practices, Keep up-to-date with industry trends and evolving technologies in microservices and Kafka, Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, Minimum 3-8 years (varies by level) of hands-on Java development experience, Proven experience in developing and deploying microservices architecture, Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for message brokering and stream processing, Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases, Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e-g, Jenkins, GitLab) and Agile/Scrum methodologies, Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in agile teams, Desired Skills Expertise in Java 8+ and Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is favorable, Knowledge of event-driven architecture and service mesh technologies, Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Familiarity with Git version control and automated testing frameworks, Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude, APPLY NOW Show more Show less
