Job Summary:

Java Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy backend services and APIs using
Java
and
Spring Boot
.
Build and maintain scalable
Microservices
in a distributed cloud environment.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Collaborate with DevOps and QA teams for CI/CD, testing, and deployment.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address issues.
Maintain and improve existing codebase and peer review code changes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of professional experience in
Java development
.
Strong expertise in
Spring Boot
,
Spring Cloud
, and related Java frameworks.
Solid experience building and consuming
RESTful APIs
.
Hands-on experience with
Microservices architecture
and design principles.
Familiarity with
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and
cloud platforms
(e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis is a plus).
Proficient in version control systems like
Git
.
Experience working in
Agile/Scrum
teams.
Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with messaging systems like
Kafka
,
RabbitMQ
, etc.
Exposure to monitoring tools such as
Prometheus
,
Grafana
, or
ELK Stack
.
Knowledge of security and performance tuning for APIs and services.
Experience in test-driven development (TDD) and writing unit/integration tests using
JUnit

Mockito
, etc.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools like
Jenkins

GitLab CI
, or
CircleCI
.
