Job Description

Senior Java Developer

Essential Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE and Spring framework.
Proficient in SQL and working with enterprise DBMS.
At least 3 years of experience with build tools like Maven.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience with test-driven development (TDD).
Hands-on experience with streaming technologies such as Apache Kafka or Google Pub/Sub.
Familiarity with automation and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Chef.

Desirable Qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP or AWS or Azure
Exposure to financial risk management applications.
Working knowledge of Python.
Experience with UC4 job scheduling and Splunk monitoring tools.
Agile development experience, including story-driven coding.
Proficiency with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
