Java Backend Engineer

As a Product Engineer III - Backend at our company, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, contributing to the design, development, and delivery of high-performance software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability and efficiency of our products. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and microservices. - Build robust APIs and data integration solutions for dynamic frontend applications. - Collaborate with DevOps and architecture teams for smooth deployments and system reliability. - Write clean, maintainable, and testable code. - Contribute to enhancing coding standards and development practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Strong expertise in Java and Spring Framework for building scalable APIs and microservices. - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL for data modelling and query optimization. - Hands-on experience with Redpanda/Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies (good to have). - Familiarity with Hasura GraphQL or related API platforms (good to have). - Understanding of RESTful API design principles and security best practices. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, code versioning (Git), and agile development workflows.
