Java Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java Spring Boot , microservices architecture , and hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes . You will play a critical role in designing and building scalable backend systems that power our core applications. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and enhance backend systems using Java Spring Boot . Design, build, and integrate RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications. Implement microservices to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Use Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration. Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams for seamless software delivery. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code , adhering to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews , perform unit testing , and support production deployments. Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis , and implement long-term solutions. Stay up to date with the latest backend development trends and contribute to continuous improvement of system architecture. Required Skills & Qualifications: 5+ years of backend development experience with Java Spring Boot . Strong knowledge of microservices architecture and REST API development. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , GitLab CI , or equivalent. Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud Platform . Basic understanding of DevOps principles and collaborative workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills , attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and in team environments. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
