Java Back End Developer

Job description: A Java Backend Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining server side applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and collaborating with front end developers to create seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Server-Side Logic: Design, implement, and maintain high performance backend services using Java and frameworks like Spring. API Development: Create and manage APIs that allow front end applications to communicate with the server-side logic.

Database Management: Design and maintain database schemas, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.

Performance Optimization: Identify and fix bottlenecks in the application, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Collaboration: Work closely with front end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate user facing elements with server-side logic.

Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure the reliability and functionality of applications.

Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for code, APIs, and application functionality to facilitate future development and troubleshooting.

Stay Updated: Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to apply them to operations and improve application performance. Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in Java: Strong understanding of Java programming and experience with Java based web services.

Framework Knowledge: Familiarity with frameworks such as Spring , Hibernate and Kafka.

Database Skills: Experience with SQL databases and ORM technologies.

Version Control: Proficient in using version control systems like Git. Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience: Typically requires 3+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with Java.

Education: A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
