Job Overview We are looking for a highly skilled and self-driven Java Backend Developer with strong experience in React.js, Spring Boot, Microservices, Python, Machine Learning, and PostgreSQL. This is an individual contributor role where you'll play a critical part in designing, developing, and enhancing our core product. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture. Build intuitive frontend interfaces using React.js. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. Integrate Python-based ML modules into the backend services. Write optimized SQL queries and manage PostgreSQL databases. Ensure product scalability, reliability, and performance. Actively participate in code reviews, unit testing, and product enhancements. Own your code end-to-end — from development to deployment. Required Skills Strong programming experience in Java (Spring Boot). Proficiency with React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript. Good understanding of Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. Working knowledge of Python, preferably with experience in integrating ML models. Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases. Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in an ed-tech or product-based startup. Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
