Java Back End Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our support team for a large-scale, complex enterprise system. This role demands strong backend development expertise, particularly in Java Struts, MVC frameworks, and Spring Boot, along with practical experience in Mule ESB for system integration. While primarily backend-focused, the role also requires proficiency in front-end technologies as part of a full-stack support team function.
The successful candidate will work within a highly dynamic environment, supporting a system with a decade-long development history and significant functional complexity .Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and interpersonal skills are critical for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including QA, technical support, and domain specialists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide full-stack application support, with a primary focus on Java backend systems.
• Analyze and troubleshoot production issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Perform system integration tasks using Mule ESB and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support system operations.
• Maintain and enhance legacy applications built on Java Struts and MVC frameworks.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Participate in deployment activities and occasionally provide after-hours and weekend support.
• Document technical findings, code changes, and support procedures for knowledge sharing and continuity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Struts, and MVC frameworks.
• Practical experience with Spring Boot and Mule ESB for integration.
• Proficiency in SQL, with solid experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Good understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting or developing complex enterprise systems with extensive cross-domain integration.
• Familiarity with legacy system modernization or migration projects.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
