Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement end-to-end automated tests for RESTful APIs. - Define and maintain the QA strategy for your scrum team, including test planning and release management practices. - Collaborate with product management and design teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. - Champion test automation best practices, focusing on reliability, maintainability, and scalability. - Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and actively contribute to enhancing test stability and coverage. - Mentor peers in automation strategies and testing frameworks. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. - 4-7 years of experience in test automation, specifically for backend services. - Proficient in Java, JavaScript, or Python. - Familiarity with REST API automation tools like Rest Assured, Karate, etc. - Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or JBehave. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins), version control (Git), and issue tracking (Jira). - Strong understanding of the testing pyramid and a commitment to ensuring quality.,
