Java Architect / Technical Architect

As a Java Architect / Technical Architect Web Development at Trivandrum, your role involves producing high level technical designs for functionality contained within a functional specification. Your responsibilities include: - Working to ensure the proposed design meets the requirements. - Assessing how a solution can be delivered using standard and non-standard products from internal and 3rd parties. - Ensuring that high level designs consider non-functional requirements such as security, performance, and accessibility. - Identifying and resolving all key technical design decisions and problems. - Working closely with development leads through the delivery stage of a project. - Retaining full ownership for all project development throughout the project lifecycle. - Collaborating with stakeholders and overseas Architects to continually refine and improve development processes and standards. Qualifications and Experience required for this role: - At least 8 years of experience in Web Development, with 2-3 years in the role of Technical Architect / Technical Lead. Mandatory Skills: - Significant experience in hands-on software development in Web Technology. - Expertise in Object-Oriented Programming practices such as Java, JEE, Design patterns, and SQL Server. - Experience in Production environments and Infrastructure. Desired Skills: - Experience in Integrations Services or any other ETL tool would be advantageous. - Exposure to Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Chrome Book, and Mac would be beneficial. Competency Requirements: - Influencing Skills to interact/speak with stakeholders effectively. - Communication Skills to share and communicate ideas clearly. - Ownership for proposing and implementing solutions. - Ability to work well in a team.
