Job Summary:

UJC INDIA PVT LTD is actively seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Jari & Yarn Production Supervisor for our unit in Bhestan, Surat. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in yarn preparation, metallic jari (zari) handling, and colour shade matching processes. This is a key supervisory role ensuring that high-quality yarn and jari are prepared on time for our production lines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee yarn and jari production processes including dyeing, twisting, winding, sizing, and reeling.
• Ensure correct shade matching using shade cards and maintain colour consistency.
• Monitor quality and strength of various yarns (cotton, polyester, viscose, silk, metallic jari, etc.).
• Supervise daily production targets and ensure on-time material availability for weaving/loom sections.
• Coordinate with dyeing, finishing, and inventory teams for smooth workflow.
• Inspect yarn/jari batches for any defects, contamination, or inconsistencies.
• Maintain inventory records of raw yarn and finished threads.
• Train and manage shop-floor workers on proper yarn handling and machine operations.
• Identify production issues and implement quick corrective actions to avoid delays or defects.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure clean, efficient working conditions.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in yarn or jari production supervision.
• Strong understanding of yarn types, jari materials, and colour matching techniques.
• Ability to operate or supervise machines like winders, twisters, warping, and sizing machines.
• Basic knowledge of shade card matching and yarn quality standards.
• Team management skills and the ability to handle daily production challenges.
• Must be based in Surat or willing to relocate to Bhestan.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Textile Technology or relevant trade.
• Experience in handling metallic jari, viscose, and blended yarns.
• Familiarity with textile ERP systems or manual production reporting.
