Operations Manager - Food Services & Infrastructure (Highway Wayside gurugram 5 - 10 years INR 0.5 - 0.7 Lacs P.A. Work from Office Full Time

Role Overview: We are seeking a proactive leader with strong operational capabilities to take complete charge of facility-driven food court projects. The role involves spearheading planning, infrastructure setup, vendor acquisition, and daily functioning. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a proven ability to build operations from 0 to 1, independently driving execution, coordination, and compliance while ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality food service experiences. Key Responsibilities: Set up and manage end-to-end food court operations, including planning, vendor onboarding, and infrastructure readiness. Handle vendor identification, evaluation, contracting, and day-to-day coordination. Build and lead the on-ground operations team (cleaning, support staff, supervisors) with structured roles and SOPs. Ensure hygiene, food safety, compliance (FSSAI, fire, licenses), and smooth customer flow. Oversee facility management including utilities, maintenance, seating, and cleanliness. Monitor daily operations, performance KPIs, and prepare reports including project P&L for senior Management. Manage billing, invoicing, and periodic vendor audits; maintain accurate records and reports. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration. 5+ years of experience managing food courts, QSRs, or high-traffic hospitality operations. Familiarity with FSSAI norms, fire/safety regulations, and customer service protocols. Knowledge of POS systems, vendor billing, and basic facility maintenance procedures. Excellent command over MS Office and reporting tools. Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Customer-centric approach with a focus on service excellence. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment. Professional appearance and communication skills. Work Environment and Benefits: This is an on-site operational role based in a food court located within a retail, commercial, or mall setup. The candidate should be comfortable working during weekends, public holidays, and rotational shifts as per business demand.
