The Role: Accounts Officer We’re looking for a detail-obsessed, ethically grounded, and self-driven Accounts Officer to take charge of our core financial systems. This is more than number-crunching, it’s about ensuring financial integrity and compliance in service of a larger social mission. You’ll be handling daily accounts, statutory compliances (TDS, GST, FCRA, CSR), donor reporting, audit coordination, and all the good stuff that keeps a values-driven organization financially healthy and transparent. Your Key Responsibilities 1) Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts Record day-to-day transactions including payments, receipts, and journal entries Manage cash books, bank reconciliations, ledgers, and vouchers 2) Taxation & Compliance Prepare and file TDS, GST, and other statutory returns timely Ensure compliance with FCRA, 12A, 80G, and CSR reporting Assist with statutory, internal, and donor audits Coordinate with CA and legal advisors as needed 3) Reporting & Budgeting Track project-wise budgets, expenses, and grants Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Support the team with utilization reports and forecasting 4) Operations & Coordination Ensure timely vendor and salary payments Assist internal teams with reimbursements and procurement-related accounting Maintain proper documentation for all financial and compliance activities What You Need to Bring Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce/Finance/Accounting 3–5 years of work experience (NGO or social sector experience is a big plus) Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks Deep knowledge of Indian taxation laws (TDS, GST, Income Tax) Familiarity with FCRA, CSR reporting, and donor finance systems Strong Excel and documentation skills High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and timelines What You’ll Get A chance to work in the green valley of Dehradun Great coffee and even better team vibes Learning opportunities across communication, strategy, and social impact A workplace with heart, structure, and national impact Work that matters- every single day Ready to Join Us? ROLE: We are looking for a Scriptwriter who can craft narratives that are not only engaging but also deeply authentic and emotionally resonant. This role demands creativity, empathy, and the ability to write powerfully in both Hindi and English. The right candidate will bring originality to every project, avoiding monotony, and ensuring that every story is told with freshness and impact. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Films & Documentaries: Write compelling scripts for short and long-form films that connect with diverse audiences. Conduct thorough research and interviews with grassroots changemakers to capture authentic voices. Shape narratives that highlight emotional depth and inspire social impact. 2. Podcasts: Develop scripts that transform real conversations and lived experiences into engaging audio storytelling. Collaborate with producers to ensure seamless narrative flow in audio formats. 3. Research & Interviews: Conduct in-depth interviews and develop questionnaires to bring out nuanced perspectives. Ensure stories are rooted in truth, emotion, and context. 4. Collaboration & Creativity: Work closely with directors, editors, and the creative team to translate stories into impactful visual and audio formats. Contribute new ideas and innovative approaches to storytelling. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: • Minimum- 3 years of experience in scriptwriting for films, documentaries, podcasts, or related formats. • Strong proficiency in Hindi and English (both written and spoken). • Ability to adapt writing for short-form, long-form, and audio formats. • A creative mindset that avoids formulaic approaches and brings originality to every project. • Sensitivity and empathy to capture and deliver the true emotions of real people and communities. BONUS SKILLS: • Experience with directing or producing films/podcasts. • Familiarity with grassroots movements, social reform, and community development. • Understanding of documentary filmmaking processes and storytelling trends.
