Job Description

Job Summary:

Experienced ITI Fitter with a strong background in mechanical fitting, equipment installation, and maintenance. Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings, assembling mechanical components, and ensuring machinery functions efficiently and safely.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

ITI Certification in Fitter Trade (NCVT/SCVT).
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical fitting or industrial maintenance.
Knowledge of mechanical drawings, tolerances, and material handling.
Hands-on experience with grinders, drilling machines, and alignment tools.
Basic understanding of welding, plumbing, and assembly techniques.
Good teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform fitting, assembly, and installation of mechanical parts and components as per technical drawings.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of machines, tools, and production equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults or defects in plant machinery.
Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precision fitting.
Support fabrication, alignment, and testing of mechanical systems and assemblies.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and equipment reports.
Follow all safety standards and ensure housekeeping in the work area.
Collaborate with technicians, welders, and engineers for project execution.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
