ITI ELECTRICIAN

Job Purpose:

To ensure smooth functioning of all electrical systems, machines, and utilities in the textile plant by performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work in compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of textile machinery (e.g., looms, spinning machines, knitting machines, dyeing, finishing, etc.).
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems including motors, panels, wiring, switches, and control systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical faults quickly to minimize downtime.
• Monitor power supply, distribution boards, and ensure uninterrupted operation of machinery.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, spares usage, and service reports.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and ensure safe electrical practices.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and comply with industry safety guidelines.
• Assist in electrical upgradation, new machinery installation, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with production teams to resolve machine-related electrical issues.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of textile machinery electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with motors (AC/DC), drives, PLC basics, and control circuits.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Problem-solving and quick fault diagnosis skills.

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI (Electrician) – Mandatory.
• 2–5 years of experience in textile industry electrical maintenance (spinning, weaving, dyeing, or processing units preferred).
• Freshers may be considered for trainee positions.

Work Environment:

• Factory/plant-based role with shift duties.
• Exposure to high-speed textile machinery and electrical equipment.
• Requires adherence to strict safety protocols.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
