Job Summary:

IT Technical Trainer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led and online training modules on database technologies.
• Train internal staff, clients, or students on SQL, database architecture, performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database administration.
• Create training content including manuals, lab exercises, presentations, and assessments.
• Evaluate trainees performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Stay current with new database technologies, certifications, and industry trends.
• Customize training programs to align with organizational or client-specific requirements.
• Support certification programs like Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and others.
• Conduct workshops, webinars, and hands-on labs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a technical trainer, instructor, or corporate trainer in IT.
• Strong expertise in at least one or more database systems: SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Proficient in SQL query writing, stored procedures, triggers, views, and database performance optimization.
• Familiarity with data modeling and ER diagrams.
• Experience with backup strategies, disaster recovery, and database security best practices.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator) preferred.
